What is Domain Broker Service?
WebNIC’s Domain Broker Service helps clients acquire domain names that are already registered. Our experienced brokers act as intermediaries, negotiating directly with the current domain owner on your behalf to ensure a smooth, confidential, and secure transaction.
How does the domain brokering process work?
- Log in to WebNIC Partner Central
- Navigate to the top left corner and click Domain
- Enter your desired domain and click Search
- If the domain is taken, you’ll see an option to request Broker Service
- Once submitted, our Broker Team will reach out to the domain owner to begin negotiations
- We manage all communications, aiming to secure the domain at the best possible price on your behalf
What are the benefits of using WebNIC’s brokering service?
- Expert Negotiation: Our brokers have deep industry knowledge and negotiation skills to ensure fair pricing
- Confidentiality: Your identity remains protected throughout the transaction
- End-to-End Support: We handle the entire process, reducing hassle and saving time
Are there any fees associated with the brokering service?
Yes. A non-refundable broker service fee is charged per domain. In addition, a 25% commission is applied based on the final sale price of the acquired domain.
What happens if the broker is unable to acquire the domain?
If the domain owner declines to sell or no agreement is reached within 30 days, the broker will close your request. While the broker service fee remains non-refundable, we’ll provide alternative domain recommendations aligned with your original search criteria.
